2019-2020 Burton Book Fund Webinar

Since its inception in 2013, the Burton Book Fund has provided $1.9 million in textbooks to over 7,700 current and former foster youth attending colleges in California. John Burton Advocates for Youth has launched the Burton Book Fund for the 2019-2020 academic year with a webinar that provided essential information about the program.

Campus-based foster youth support program representatives and campus bookstores can review the recording or slides to learn about how they can access the Burton Book Fund for their students and the process for this upcoming academic year. The Burton Book Fund is administered through campuses who submit applications to participate by Friday, July 19, 2019.

On July 31, a list of participating campuses will be posted on the Burton Book Fund page, and students and those working with foster youth can contact them directly about accessing the Burton Book Fund.
