John Burton Advocates for Youth is a statewide non-profit organization based in San Francisco, working throughout California to improve the quality of life for California’s foster, former foster, and homeless youth. JBAY is committed to achieving success for every foster youth by developing and advocating for policy solutions, resources and support to bring an end to youth homelessness.
John Burton Advocates for Youth provides resources and leadership to campuses and community organizations to help foster youth succeed at community colleges, vocational schools, and four-year universities. JBAY provides overall project management, delivers technical assistance and training, engages in policy advocacy and works to strengthen data systems.
John Burton Advocates for Youth also strives to reduce homelessness among current and former foster youth in California by improving access to safe, affordable and supportive housing and health services through training, technical assistance, and advocacy.
