Seven-Step Guide to Becoming a THPP-NMD Provider

This guide is intended to assist organizations wishing to become licensed to provide the Transitional Housing Placement Program for Nonminor Dependents (THPP-NMD).* THPP-NMD providers serve nonminor dependent youth ages 18-21. This guide does not include information on how to become licensed to provide the Transitional Housing Placement Program for Minor Foster Children (THPP-M), which serves youth ages 16-17.

THPP-NMD providers are licensed by the Community Care Licensing (CCL) Division of the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) and certified by county agencies.
